In 2016 the national wide campaign
"RadeltZurArbeit” in Austria gained huge momentum: 21.466 cyclists from 2.117 companies in 4.660 teams participated. This is an increase of 50% compared to the last year. The Austrian bike2work campaign is the forth biggest in Europe of this kind. (03/08/2016) Read more about it!

This year the national initiative »Bring happiness to work« that promotes cycling to work took place from mid May to mid June. Comparing to the previous year the number of participants more than double. The cyclists saved as much as 26 tons of CO2.

Rimini,capital of the beautiful Costiera Romagnola, in Italy, has joined the Bike2Work project, putting in place a great format for the campaign. Set up like a game, it is structured with objectives and rewards, and it is implemented on a "cycling social network". Read more about it!
The Dutch Presidency to the European Parliament takes over the cycling initiative from Luxembourg. The two countries agreed to join the forces to reach a better and stronger promotion of bicycles as a transportation.
